The Westfield PTSA Scholarship committee is pleased to announce that it will award scholarships up to $500 to well-rounded, outstanding seniors who uphold the ideals of the PTSA. When the winner is announced, there will be no differentiation made between Special Education and other scholarships awarded.
The WHS PTSA reserves the right to choose not to award the proposed scholarships if necessary.
Scholarship monies will be paid directly to the University and not given to the student.
- Eligibility Requirements:
- The applicant must be enrolled as a Westfield High School senior who:
- has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
- will graduate in June 2024.
- plans to attend a 2-year or 4-year college or university or has enrolled in a technical/vocational institution.
- The applicant must submit all of the following to pta.scholarship@gmail.com by the deadline date for consideration: the PTSA scholarship application, an unofficial transcript including senior year, a resume, an essay, and two letters of recommendation. Details are on the following page.
- If you receive a full scholarship from another program, you must remove yourself from consideration for the PTSA scholarship program by notifying pta.scholarship@gmail.com.
- Any applicant who violates the Westfield Honor Code must submit a written explanation.
- Applicant must be a PTA member for at least 2 years.
